This quarterly installment of our latest projects and installations continues our look at how healthcare teams around the world are putting Silentia privacy screens to work. The series is designed for architects, interior designers, and Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) professionals who understand that a single product decision can influence infection prevention, workflow, and the overall experience of a care environment.
The projects we feature typically speak to more than one challenge at a time; a solution chosen with infection prevention in mind can also improve the way a space is used, and a design intended to modernize a unit often ends up supporting the people who work in it every day. This overlap reflects how many considerations go into healthcare facility design today, and how much versatility is expected from the products meant to support it.
In this installment, we’re sharing seven healthcare privacy screen projects born from close collaboration between our team and the facilities we serve. Each one takes on the everpresent challenges that most facilities face today, whether that’s infection prevention, space optimization, modernization of care, or workflow efficiency. Together, they reflect the range of what’s possible when Silentia screens are shaped around the specific needs of a facility.
We hope these examples spark ideas for your own healthcare design projects!
